This policy covers paid API plans on UK Random Address Generator (ukaddressgenerator.org). The free tier involves no payment and nothing here applies to it.
Payments for UK Random Address Generator plans are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record. Paddle.com Market Ltd is the seller of record for the transaction, handles the payment, charges and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues the invoice.
That means your payment contract for the subscription is with Paddle.com Market Ltd, while the service itself is provided by UK Address Generator. Your card or bank statement will show a Paddle descriptor rather than UK Random Address Generator.
You may request a full refund of your most recent payment within 14 days of that payment being taken, for any reason and without having to explain yourself.
After that window we will still consider a refund where the service did not work as described, where you were charged twice, or where a renewal was taken that you had already tried to cancel. Nothing in this policy removes any statutory right you have as a consumer under UK or EU law.
Either route reaches a human; the first is usually faster.
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for — it is not immediate, and it is not a refund of the current period.
Until that period ends you keep the plan you paid for, at its full limits. When it ends the account drops to the free tier automatically.
Cancelling never deletes your API keys. They keep working under the free tier limits, so an integration does not break and you do not have to reissue a key if you subscribe again later.
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle retries it over a short period and emails you. The subscription stays active during those retries — a failed payment on its own does not cut off access.
If the retries do not succeed, the subscription ends and the account moves to the free tier, again without any key being deleted.
Moving to a more expensive plan takes effect immediately and Paddle prorates the difference. Moving to a cheaper one takes effect at the end of the current period, so you keep what you have paid for until then.
